Summer School (copy 1)
Led by Concetta Beneduce, Director of ABB Technikerschule, and Raphael Markstaller, Head of FITT FHNW, the ‘Summer School Baden 4.0’ offers students the unique opportunity to work directly with leading technology companies in the region and takes them on a journey through the regional innovation ecosystem. The programme was founded by the Baden 4.0 partners: ABB, Accelleron, Autexis, Aveniq, cross-ING (Park Innovaare), Hitachi Energy, Baden Cantonal Hospital and Varian. Over five days, the students gained spectacular insights into the latest technologies in the fields of robotics, automation and data science and solve challenges on site at Accelleron, cross-ING and Varianin the first session in August 2025.
Through methodical training in innovative problem-solving approaches and networking with leading international companies, participants can make valuable contacts for their careers.
The successful premiere of Summer School Baden 4.0 lays the foundation for the long-term establishment of the format. The organisers, ABB Technical School and FHNW, will continue Summer School Baden 4.0 in the summer of 2026. In doing so, they are sending a strong signal for the sustainable promotion of young talent and practical exchange between education and business in the Baden region.
