Due to ongoing dry conditions and high temperatures, the forest fire danger level has been raised to Level 4 (high). A fire ban is in force throughout the canton in forests and within 50 metres of forest edges. This also applies to:

• designated fire pits
• forest huts
• picnic and playground areas in forests or near forest edges

Gas and electric grills are permitted if used with caution.
The ban remains in effect until further notice.

From 6 July to 9 August 2026, adjusted counter opening hours apply in selected service areas. The counters are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. You can continue to reach us by telephone during our regular opening hours.
